The Dooms Day Fear!

Why in the world were people afraid of the LHC. CERN's Large Hardon Corridor has been a talk of town were people were discussing it now and then. Only that it was for a different reason than it was stated to be! And the Protons were fired today in Geneva.

People were afraid that it may bring the Dooms Day! Yeah, and I am surprised to hear that myself. You know why around 37 countries were involved in this project? Well, they say that it will help the scientific fraternity to understand how was this universe formed. But I believe things a bit different. What this will help actually is to solve the worlds energy crisis.

Yes, you read that right. But I am not too sure about this. My colleague told me that what the countries around the world are interested is know how to make Cold Fusion working. Well I am not talking about the Adobe ColdFusion software / server. Its something similar to the Fusion and Fission, something nuclear. This technology can help us to produce large amount of energy with minimum risks.

Indian news channels were running this story all day through for last three days. God knows why they pain us with a news again and again. We, as viewers, get tired but they don't get tired broadcasting it. And finally it happened. And all the fuss about that is cleared out and every news channel is looking for a new story.

The one interesting thing I liked is that scientists have a bit of attraction to Music. That shows in this video on the LHC, known as the LHC Rap. Its one really good rap which also tells you what exactly LHC does. Go, watch it on YouTube.
