September 14, 2008

Sebastian Vettel creates history after becoming the worlds youngest Formula One Grand Prix winner. He piped all other great drivers to win this amazing Italian Gran Prix.

The race started with team mate Bourdias stalling on the grid and starting from the Pit Lane. The Race was stared off with a Safety car since it was raining heavily and the track was very slippary. Vettel lead the way spraying water on others and maintaining the rhythm till the end of the race. Such was the finnese of this young boy that the race for Torro Rosso was super smooth.

Vettel created room for himself for pits and luckily never had a hurdle in his way to become worlds Youngest Grand Prix winner. By Lap 17, Vettel created a lead of 10 seconds over Hekki of McLaren Mercedes.

While the Force India's did not put some good show, Adrian Sutil managed to finish the race and bring home the car last on the grid. Hamilton gained seven positions to finish 7th behind Massa. Raikkonen actually started racing in the 45th track where he put himself on the fastest lap.

Then he went on to break his own fastest lap till the last lap, where is scored a pheonomenal 1:28 secs finishing just outside the points. On the last second lap, Nakajima and Coulthard touch eachother where former was trying to overtake damaging Coulthard's Nose forcing him to go back to the pit lane for second time.
